The Green H is a RIBA Chartered architecture and construction management studio operating across Italy and the United Kingdom. We specialise in transforming historic and heritage buildings — from 12th-century Roman convents to Grade II Listed London mansions — into exceptional homes, hotels, and headquarters for international clients.
We don't just draw — we manage contractors, navigate heritage authorities (Soprintendenza, Genio Civile, Conservation Officers), control budgets, and hand over finished buildings. For clients who live far from their investment, we are the single point of trust on the ground.
Since 2022, we are the Italian architectural partner for MyHomes Copenhagen, managing property sourcing and renovation for Scandinavian co-ownership groups in Rome — with two projects completed and two currently on site.

Transforming a historic palazzo into Six Senses' first Italian property — with interiors by Patricia Urquiola. Three competing pressures: uncompromising brand standards, a world-class designer's vision, and the realities of building in Rome. The central challenge was making the budget work without compromising the design.
Six Senses Rome opened to international recognition — Travel + Leisure "It List" Best Hotels 2024. 96 rooms, rooftop restaurant, Roman bathhouse spa, interiors blending contemporary Italian design with historic character.
External facades under Soprintendenza protection. Structural interventions requiring Genio Civile authorisation. Two parallel regulatory processes. 5,000 m² completely gutted and rebuilt — new floor slabs, steel frames, new mechanical cores — while the protected envelope remained untouched.
Former Carabinieri barracks becoming a five-star hotel for French investors who had never built in Italy. Protected facades, complete structural reconstruction, unfamiliar bureaucracy, international hospitality standards.
Georgian townhouse: refurbish upper floors, redesign garden, excavate new basement for pool, gym, sauna, jacuzzi, and library. Single point of contact for the entire project.
