The USGBC – United States Green Building Council - issued a competition to design a sustainable suite for hotels. The main concept of our design was to conceive of a module that would open like a flower and create plan layouts that could be combined with an ideal mix of indoor and outdoor space. In addition to that, the project makes use of sustainable resources such as wind chimneys, solar panels, water recycling and the use of local materials. The aim was also to create a playful colour scheme which could fit well within a Mediterranean or beach setting.
